The Lads Army and Drake Tempest is a teenage fiction book written with an undertone of humour, complete at 66,000 words. It’s the first in a series following Will as he builds his teenage army to defend the country from Nazi occupation.

As I child I grew up in rural Scotland, getting up to lots of boisterous mischief. As a young man I spent five years in the Royal Air Force, getting up to even more mischief. Now older and wiser I am a serial creative thinker, with a roguish sense of humour.”
This is my first teen book in the series of six; I am currently writing the second one, with plots already penned for the others.

The book was thoroughly enjoying ,this has been one of my favorite books in the last few years. This book really describes what boys of a certain age love to do. Explore outdoors and go looking for trouble. This book also has a funny side to it between all of the young characters there is always someone making a joke. Another thing that i enjoyed about is the characters in the book. You get to know them very well , and they all have unique personalities. Many other books i have read just give you maybe a physical description or the character but it doesn't go into depth of the person's characteristics or personality. I really enjoy books on the theme of World War 2 or history in general and this is another great book that I would recommend to any history lovers. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and i can't wait for any others to come out. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys action-packed books with an exciting story line that keeps you on the edge of your seat.Product details
